If you are expecting a Jerry McGuire moment in your career, your startup, your creative production, I have to let you know, there isn’t one.

There is no “big break” where everything changes on a single decision except for infinitesimally small portion of the population that would be considered a rounding error in every statistics class you ever took.

Jerry McGuire moments are like winning the Powerball Lottery when you have never purchased a lottery ticket at any point in your life except for this one time.

You know what makes your career? What puts you at the top of the heap? What makes you a winner?

Lots (and I do mean lots) of very small decisions that barely move the needle on your life.
