Recruiter Go Away Maybe

Do not annoy me when I have a guitar in my hand.

*phone rings*

“Hey Justin! This is Brian at ABC recruiting. I wanted to reach out in the hope you could help with…”

And I broke in to song…

You’re a recruiter,
and this is crazy,
But I think you are,
fucking lazy.

It’s hard to re – cruit,
Because those smart developers,
Put you on mute,
Because you’re not interested,
in me really.

You know what that sounds like?
Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
Do my job,
For me maybe?

So you know my number?
Lose it to – day,
Don’t ever call me,
Just throw it a – way.

Then I flipped him off over the phone & hung up.

Which in hindsight probably wasn’t as dramatic as I thought it would be at the time.
