Attention to detail does not mean perfectionism.

Perfectionism is a form a procrastination.

“I’m a perfectionist” is to claim “I have trouble letting go. I have trouble shipping. I cannot deliver value to your organization because I cannot deliver value to your customer.”

Attention to detail is saying, loud, and clear, “I care.”

I care about the work.

I care about your image.

I care about the product.

I care about the customer.

I care enough to put my name on it.

I care enough to be proud of it.

Pay attention to detail.

Ship as soon as you can.

Iterate until all the details are proper and correct.
